MG Cars
In 1924 Cecil Kimber in Oxford started building sporting Morrises as 'Morris Garages' and the MG brand was born. Kimber was a Morris sales manager, and William Morris kept personal ownership Of MG running it alongside Morris, MG got its own factory in Abingdon in 1929, but was sold into the Nuffield Organisation in 1935.
