MG M-type Midget
Cecil Kimber created the 'Morris Garages' brand by making sporting versions of Morris cars. When Morris launched a new little car in 1928, the Morris Minor, it was inevitable that Cecil Kimber should want to build a warmer version of the Minor; the M-type Midget was born in 1928. An excellent Wolseley-derived 847cc engine proved highly tuneable and spawned developments of the M-type; the C-type, D-type and J-type Midgets.
