Commer FC, PA, PB, Spacevan
Launched in 1960 as the Commer 1500 FC, it was powered by a 53bhp 1494cc Hillman Minx engine, and contained components from many Rootes vehicles. There was also a 1621cc Perkins diesel option. In 1961 the FC Series II gained the 1592cc Minx engine, and a mesh grille. In 1963 the Series IIa was launched with a new grille, the name 'COMMER' in chrome letters, and a revised grille with three chrome strips. The PA was launched in 1965 with a wider grille and the 1725cc Minx engine. The PB model was announced in 1967, and carried the Commer van on until the Spacevan makeover in 1974, which gave it larger rear lamps. From August 1976 the name 'Dodge' was used on the Spacevans, and revised model launched in 1977 with wraparound grille. Production ceased in 1983.
