Austin Drawing Office Codes

In 1952 the Austin Motor Company and Nuffield Organisation merged and the six brand names were rationalised with a single development channel which gave all projects an ADO code for the Austin Drawing Office. The icons below open albums for the more significant ADO codes, but here are some more:

ADO 6: Austin FX4 Taxi. ADO 8: Austin A40 Farina. ADO 13: Austin-Healey 'Frogeye' Sprite. ADO 20: Mini MkIII and Mini Clubman. ADO 23: MG MGB. ADO 27: Austin-Healey 3000 MkIII. ADO 28: Morris Marina. ADO 58: Joint BMC and Rolls-Royce luxury car.
