Daimler Fifteen
The Daimler 'Light Fifteen' was the company's new 'small car' launched in response to leaner times after the Great Depression. Power came from an 1805cc six cylinder ohv engine in 1932 with fluid flywheel transmission. This engine was a 6-cylinder version of the 4-cylinder 1203cc engine used in the Lanchester LA10. In 1934 the engine was enlarged to 2003cc and again to 2166cc in 1937, before evolving to 2522cc in 1938. The Fifteen evolved through DB17, DB17-1 to be relaunched as the DB18 in 1939.
