Maserati Merak
In 1972, Maserati introduced the Merak, a kind of 'Junior Bora' that was named after a star. Powered by a 3-litre V6 that was derived from the Maserati V8 engine and already running in the Citroen SM. Giorgetto Giugiaro of Ital Design was commisioned for the Merak body, he'd already penned the Bora and the Ghibli.
