Chrysler New Yorker 1957-60

But it was in 1957 that the 'Forward Look' styling from Virgil Exner was given to the New Yorker and the design was decorated more and more with each year. Built on a 126-inch wheelbase the 1957 New Yorker was Chrysler's top model apart from the rarer Chrysler 300. A 6,424cc Hemi V8 powered the New Yorker, and it was sold as 2-door and 4-door hardtops, a Sedan, a Convertible and a Wagon.
