Lancia Gamma Coupe
The Lancia Gamma Berlina (1976) was followed in 1979 by the Gamma Coupe launched at the Geneva Salon in 1979. It shared the same 2484cc Flat-four engine driving the front wheels as the saloon. Pininfarina designed both the Gamma Berlina and the Gamma Coupe, but it was Aldo Brovarone who did the coupe. Unfortunately the mechanics of the Coupe were no better than those of the Berlina that shared them, and the lovely Coupe was a flawed product and a slow seller.
