Ford Zephyr 4 (3008E)
The MkIV version of the Ford Zephyr and Zodiac started in 1961 under Harley Copp, as project "Panda", with radical plans for new V-engines and advanced suspension and disc brakes. Launched in Spring 1966 as the Zephyr 4 with 1996cc V4 engine (3008E), or the Zephyr 6 with a 2495cc V6 engine (3010E). At the same time, the Zodiac was launched with 2994cc V6 engine (3012E). Part of the design was by Roy Haynes . As before Abbotts of Farnham offered Estate conversions. In 1972 the new Granada range took over from the Zephyr/Zodiac cars.
