Buick Series 50
Buick introduced the Series 50 in 1930 for the 1931 model year, built on a 114-inch wheelbase and powered by a 5,431cc (331) six cylinder 99 bhp engine. Later in 1931 an eight cylinder option was given, 3,617cc (221) 77bhp. For 1932 the eight was enlarged to 3,776 (231) and 82.5 bhp. New styling for 1933 was accompanied by the engine tuned to 86 bhp, then 88 bhp for 1934. Production ended i9n 1935 as the Series 40 ('Special') was re-introduced and sold as the entry Buick in place of the Series 50.
