Bedford CF Van
Introduced in 1969 and sold until 1988, the CF van replaced the CA van as well as models of the TJ. It was intended to answer the Ford Transit and was available with 106inch and 126inch wheelbases and payloads from 14cwt to 35cwt. Petrol engines of 1599cc and 1975cc came from the Vauxhall Victor, and 1760cc and 2523cc Perkins diesel were offered. In 1972 larger Petrol engines were offered, and from 1975 CFs were badged like 'CF230', 'CF250' giving their gross vehicle weight. From 1980 plastic grilles were given, but the CF2 model was only introduced in 1984, and production ceased in 1987.
