Hornet Cars
The Wolseley Hornet was introduced in 1930, essentially a rebadged Morris Minor. Wolseley kept the 'Hornet' locked away after the Hornet was replaced in 1936, but the name was brought out and stuck onto the 'booted Mini' sold as the Wolseley Hornet from 1963-69. In between Hudson in America gave the 'Hornet' name to a special version of its 'step-down' Commodore in 1951 that achieved success in NASCAR racing.
