Wolseley Hornet (ADO 15)
The posh Mini with a big bum. The Riley Elf and Wolseley Hornet versions of the Mini were launched in 1961 with the 848cc engine. In 1963 the MkII Hornet was launched with a 998cc engine, and in 1964 it gained Hydrolastic suspension. The MkIII Hornet and Elf appeared in 1966 with wind-up windows and concealed hinges. In 1969 production stopped and the Clubman models took over as the upmarket Minis.
