Sunbeam Mark III
The Sunbeam-Talbot 90 was replaced in 1954 by the Sunbeam MkIII which just continued the evolution of the model. Larger side grilles were fitted to the front and decorative potholes added along the bonnet. The engine was tuned to give 80bhp. After 1955 drophead coupes, by Thrupp and Maperley, were no longer available. In 1955 the Sunbeam Rapier was launched and effectively took over the market.
