Maserati Mexico
A Maserati 5000GT was given a special body for a customer in Mexico and exhibited at the Turin Salon 1965. The body was named 'Mexico' after the customer, and also to celebrate the Maserati victory at the 1966 Mexico Grand Prix. Giovanni Michelotti designed the Mexico for Carrozzeria Vignale . Sold from 1966 to 1973 the Mexico could be supplied with either 4.2 or 4.7litre V8 engines
