Maserati 150S and 250S
Replacing the A6 GCS, the 150S was launched in 1955 by Vittorio Bellentani with a new 4-cylinder 1481cc twin cam engine by Giulio Alfieri. Maserati built only a small number of the 250S as a bridge model between the 150S and the 300S. It was conceived for the new Le Mans 2½-litre specification, and given a 2594cc version of the 6-cylinder dohc engine. However, some 200S cars were upgraded to 250S with this engine.
