Lamborghini 400 GT Monza
Only one Monza exists, and this is the 1966 Barcelona Show car. Ferruccio Lamborghini was not ready to productionise this Monza, and had already rejected Carrozzeria Touring's project for a new 400 GT. The Monza was designed and built by Neri and Bonacini who had previously worked for Lamborghini. The 400 GT Monza was mechanically as the 400 GT with the 3929cc V12 engine at the front driving the rear wheels in traditional fashion. Instead Ferruccio turned to Marazzi who produced the Lamborghini Islero to take over from the 400 GT.
