Lamborghini Jalpa
The Geneva Salon of 1981 saw the unveiling of the Lamborghini Jalpa, a third attempt by the fighting bulls to counter the small Ferraris. Jalpa evolved through Lamborghini Silhouette from Lamborghini Urraco, and the body was by Marcello Gandini for Bertone. In the tail sat a 3485cc V8 engine, and the Jalpa was named after a breed of Spanish fighting bull.
