Jaguar XK 150
The final version of the Jaguar XK was launched in 1957 with a one-piece windscreen and a full restyle. Luxury rather than sporting was the theme of the XK 150. The XK 150 used the 3442cc dohc 6-cylinder engine but this was tuned to 210bhp in the SE version, or 210bhp in the 'S' version. In 1960 the new 3781cc engine intended for the E-type was given to the XK 150, and in 'S' form would give 269bhp. Bodies were the Roadster or OTS, Drophead coupe, and the fixed head coupe. In 1961 Jaguar announced the E-type and the XK became history.
