Jaguar XK120, XK140, XK150
Jaguar stunned the world at the London Motor Show 1948 with the XK 120. The beautiful body was complimented with a new 3442cc 6-cylinder dohc XK engine which promised a top speed of 120mph - fastest production car in the world. It was launched as a Roadster (or Open Two Seater 'OTS'), Fixed Head Coupe and Drophead coupe. The XK120 was replaced by the XK140 in 1954 after sales of 12,000, and the XK 150 took over from the XK 140 in 1957.
