Chrysler Avenger
In 1976 Hillman Avengers were re-badged 'Chrysler' and re-styled losing their 'bent' rear lights. In 1977 a shortened Avenger was developed into the Chrysler Sunbeam and this was turned into the competition car in place of the Avenger. In 1979 the 'Talbot' badge was given to the Avenger, but within a year production stopped. An American version was sold as the Plymouth Cricket.
