Bedford TJ and J-series
The Bedford J2 was a light truck built on a 9ft 11inch wheelbase and rated at 2-tonnes. In production from 1958 to 1976, it used an updated 3.52litre 6-cylinder engine from the Bedford OB, or a 3-litre Diesel. The bonneted truck was an update of the chevrolet inspired TA truck that had been launched in 1953, and in TJ form it gained a one-piece windscreen and new grille arrangement. Coachbuilt bodies were put onto the TJ chassis.
