Plymouth P17, P18, P19, P20
The carried over P15 models from the pre-war P9-12 were at last replaced with an all new body for the P15 in 1949, shared across the DeSoto, Dodge, Plymouth and Chrysler brands. But in late 1949 it was already updated (with chrome) for the 1950 model year. A 111inch wheelbase Plymouth P17 Deluxe (later 'Concord') was offered for customers seeking a 'small car'; Dodge offered it as the Dodge wayfarer. Standard P18 Plymouths had a 118.5inch wheelbase, with Dodges on 123.5inches, and DeSotos and Chrysler on 125.5inches. 1950 models were largely the same but typed as P19. P20, and updated for 1951 as P22 and P23 until the new body came in 1955. Briggs supplied the body to almost all Chrysler group cars, and the 3-box Styling was designed under President KT. Keller ('Keller School').
