O.S.C.A.
Officine Specializzate per la Costruzione di Automobili- Fratelli Maserati SpA (O.S.C.A.) was established in 1948 by the Maserati brothers to build competition cars. Having sold Maserati to the Orsi company in 1938 they were contracted not to go into competition with Orsi for ten years, and in 1948 they were at liberty to build cars again. OSCA were very successful in competition during the 1950s and 1960s, with class wins in the Mille Miglia ten times, Sebring 12 hours, and won the index of performance at Le Mans. Bought out in 1963 by Agusta motorcycles, OSCA only lasted three more years.
