Ford Galaxie 1969
Luxury and size were gained in 1969 when the Galaxie went onto a new 121-inch wheelbase and was freshened up for 1970, and there were now 21 variants. The Galaxie was redesigned for 1971 and the 'Galaxie 500' name was dropped during 1974. The 1975 replacement for the Galaxie now carried the badge 'LTD' and was built on a 121-inch chassis carried over from the Galaxie and this car was revamped annually until 1979 when the new 'Panther Platform' LTD went into production 15-inches shorter
