Fiat 131 Mirafiori
The Fiat 131 was introduced to replace the Fiat 124 in 1974 and was given overhead valve engines of 1297cc or 1585cc. Body styles were a 4-door saloon or a 5-door estate Familiare which was actually built by SEAT in Spain and rebadged. In 1976 Bertone designed the 2-door Fiat 131 Abarth Rallye with 1995cc dohc engine, a car that won the WRC in 1977, 1978 and 1980. The Mirafiori was revised in 1978 gaining square headlamps and large taillights. A new option of 1301cc and 1585cc dohc engines for the Series 2 models which were klnown as SuperMirafiori. The Series III Mirafiori was announced in 1981 and included a suercharged 'Volumetrico Abarth' version, and in 1983 production ceased although the estate continued until 1985.

Fiat SuperMirafiori S3. The SuperMirafiori had the dohc engine, and this S3 car had a 1367cc engine in 1981, but there were also 1585cc and 1985cc SuperMirafiori S3s.

Fiat SuperMirafiori S3. The Series III was launched in 1981 and ran until production ended in 1983. The SuperMirafiori had protective rubbling strips below the waist line.
