Ferrari 250 GT Lusso
The 250 GT Lusso was intended to be a comfortable Ferrari to replace the 250 GT Berlinetta as a road car, although some were raced. Mechanically it shared a lot of the chassis and components with the 250 GTO. A 2,953cc 240bhp Colombo V12 powered the Lusso. Designed on a 2,400mm wheelbase, the Lusso was styled by Carozzeria Pininfarina and built by Scaglietti. 351 Lussos were sold in a short production run of about 18 months and was replaced in 1964 by the 275 GTB.

Ferrari 250 GT Lusso 1963. This 250 Lusso was originally supplied to the owner of Techno who produced Formula 2 and Formula 3 racing cars in Bologna. Medardo Fantuzzi made the bodies for these F2 and F3 cars, so Techno boss Luciano Pederzani asked him to modify his Lusso with a new nose. By 1968 the car had passed through many owners and turned up in New York having acquired the triple GTO vents in the bonnets and rear wheel arch.
