Chuck Jordan
Chuck Jordan worked at General Motors, heading the special projects studio from 1953. Most famously he designed projects for exhibition at Motorama including the 1955 Cameo truck, the 1956 Buick Centurion, and the XP-700. On the production side he did the 1958 restyle for the Chevrolet Corvette and his team gave the 1959 Cadillac its twin jet pod wings and tail lights. Then Jordan went to Europe, designing the Opel Manta Coupe and Opel GT.

Cadillac Sedan de Ville 1959 - rear lights. Only the 1959 Cadillacs were given these extraordinary twin jet pod rear lights. They were attributed to Dave Hols and Ed Glowacke and others, and were designed away from Harley J Earl who was absent in Europe during the 1956 gestation period.
