Deutsch et Bonnet (D - B) Le Mans
The DB Le Mans was the final product of the joint venture between Charles Deutsch and Rene Bonnet. It was built to cash in on the competition success of cars like the D-B HBR5, but to provide a comfortable car for the American market. The body was designed by René Bonnet and his son Claude along with Jacques Hubert. Mechanical components were sourced from the Panhard PL17. A Grand Luxe version with fixed hardtop was exhibited at the 1961 Paris Salon, and very much resembled the Facel Vega Facellia whose headlamps it shared. Upon the split of Deutsch and Bonnet, the Le Mans was continued by Rene Bonnet as the Le Mans and also the Missile both with Renault engines.

For 1963 the L6 model got modest restyling, with the front indicators fitted to the side of the headlamps, and an extended roofline.
