Citroen Acadiane
In 1978 the van version of the Dyane, named 'Acadiane' was launched. The name is thought to come from 'AK' (the code given to Citroen vans, and 'Diane' (from the Citroen Dyane). This used the front half of the Citroen Dyane and the rear half of the outgoing Citroen AKS400 van. Power came from the 602cc Citroen Ami 6 engine. The Acadiane van was produced only in Vigo Spain and continued until 1987.

Citroen Acadiane 1981. The name 'Acadiane' is thought to be a combination of 'AK' which was used for the outgoing AKS400 van, and the name 'Dyane' from the car on which it was based. Hence 'Acadiane', or Dyane Van!
