Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider
The Guilietta (Tipo 750) range was launched in 1954 with the Sprint Coupe because the Berlina was not ready. Carozzeria Pininfarina was asked to design a convertible Giulietta and this was launched as the Spider at the 1956 Turin show. In 1962 the Series 105 Alfa Romeo Giulia took over from the Giulietta with an entirely new body, but the Sprint and Spider models remained in production as the Tipo 101, renamed 'Giulia' and given Giulia engines and mechanics.
