Zaporozhets ZAZ-965
Zaporizkyi Avtomobilnyi Zavod (ZAZ) produced its first model in Melitopol, Zaporizhia Oblast, Southern Ukraine. This was the ZAZ 965 sold from 1960 to 1963 which somewhat resembled a Fiat 600 but featured a 746cc V4 air-cooled engine which was tall and top heavy. In 1962 the ZAZ-965A was launched with a larger 887cc V4 which was also used as a starter motor for a Soviet tank. 322,000 were built.
