Talbot 8/18 and 10/23
A 970cc OHV engine was given to the Talbot 8/18 at its launch in 1921. This engine was developed by Georges Roesch into a 1074cc unit for the 10/23 which was manufactured alongside the 8/18. Both these models were sold at the pricier end of the small car market, with the 'Talbot' brand getting subsidy from the 'Sunbeam' sales within the Sunbeam-Talbot-Darracq (STD) group.
