Talbot 70, 75 Georges Roesch designed the 14/45 six cylinder engine for 1926. This engine was of 1665cc with an overhead valve system and rated at 45bhp. The 14/45 model continued in production until 1932 when it was renamed 'Talbot 65', and produced until 1935. From 1930 the engine was developed into a 2276cc 6-cylinder engine for the 1930 Talbot 70 and later Talbot 75, both named after their top speed, the '75' moniker arising from an underestimate of the '70' top speed! |
