Talbot 70, 75

Georges Roesch designed the 14/45 six cylinder engine for 1926. This engine was of 1665cc with an overhead valve system and rated at 45bhp. The 14/45 model continued in production until 1932 when it was renamed 'Talbot 65', and produced until 1935. From 1930 the engine was developed into a 2276cc 6-cylinder engine for the 1930 Talbot 70 and later Talbot 75, both named after their top speed, the '75' moniker arising from an underestimate of the '70' top speed!

Talbot AW75 Sports Saloon 1933 - grille. An evolution of the Talbot 14/45 (through the 'Talbot 60') the six cylinder engine was enlarged to 2276cc.
