Sunbeam MkIII
Go to British Cars The relaunched Sunbeam-Talbot became the Sunbeam MKIII

Sunbeam MkIII. The final version of a car that started in 1935 as the Talbot 10 and Talbot 2-litre. In 1957 it was swept aside by the Sunbeam Rapier - also based on a Minx.
Sunbeam MkIII DHC. MkIII Drophead Coupes were only made in 1954 and 1955 and were finished by Thrupp and Maberley.
Sunbeam MkIII. In 1954 Rootes replaced the Sunbeam-Talbot 90 MkII with this Sunbeam MkIII (the Talbot name dropped). The Humber-derived 2267cc engine was uprated to 80bhp Alpine spe4c.
Sunbeam MkIII. From 1954-57 the Sunbeam-Talbot 90 was relaunched as the Sunbeam MkIII. The larger intakes beside the grille and the 3 portholes on the bonnet flanks distinguish the MkIII.
Sunbeam MkIII. The last of the Talbot cars, though this MkIII was simply badged as Sunbeam.
Sunbeam MkIII. The MkIII and MkIIA versions of this car did not have the rear spats of the MkI and MkII
