Austin 1ton Van, Morris LD Van
The LD range was available in two versions, the LD1 1ton from 1952, and the LD2 30cwt from 1953. Austin versions were launched in 1954 and known as the 1ton and the 1½ton. A 2.2litre 4-cylinder petrol engine powered the vans, and from 1955 a 2.2litre diesel was available. The 1½ton van was londer and taller than the 1ton. In 1960 the LD-M20 and LD-30 recieved a new gearbox, and were renamed 240/260LD and 340/250LD befote being replaced by the EA model in 1967.
