Ginetta Cars
Building kit cars for race and road, Ginetta have accomodated engines from 875cc Imp engines to 4.7litre V8s. The Walklett Brothers left the company in 1989 and then started building G4 and G20 again under their DARE brand.

DARE Ginetta G4 front
DARE Ginetta G4. Launched in 1991 by the Walklett brothers and son, DARE set out to remanufacture a wider updated version of the 1961 G4. This road/race car has many different specifications from 750cc upwards.

DARE Ginetta G4. In 1989 the Walklett brothers sold Ginetta, but the new owners failed, and it changed hands again. In 1991 Ivor and Trevers Walklett and son Mark Walklett set up DARE (Design And Research Engineering) and commenced remanufacture of the G4 and G12

Ginetta G15 front
Ginetta G15. Introduced in 1967 the Ginetta G15 sold more than 700 before production ceased in 1974. Standard cars had either a Hillman Imp 875cc engine or the tuned 998cc Imp engine. Suspension used Triumph Herald parts.
