Dodge D8, D9, D10.
Chrysler replaced its D5 model for 1938 with the Dodge D8. Power was given by the existing 3,596cc side valve six. The D8 was built on the same 115-inch wheelbase as the D5, but there was also a 132-inch limousine version. A Dodge D9/D10 was also produced, built on a 112-inch wheelbase and with a 3,299cc inline six which was shared with the Plymouth P5/P6. Bodies offered on the D8 included 2-door and 4-door sedans, as well as Touring Sedans which had an external trunk at the rear. There was a Business Coupe and a Rumble Seat Coupe as well as a convertible.

Dodge D8 1938 Business Coupe - badge on boot lid. 'Dodge Brothers' was used on the badge even after the Chrysler take over in 1928 and finally phased out in 1938.

Plymouth Deluxe Six 1937. The P4 Plymouth replaced the shorter 1936 P2 model in 1937. The all steel body included a one-piece roof for strength. A 3,298cc flat head six cylinder powered the the Plymouth P4, and the related Chrysler Wimbledon and Dodge D8.
