Daimler Regency, One-O-Four
The Daimler Regency series evolved out of the Daimler Consort (itself a development from the 'Light Fifteen' and into the DB18 with a standard steel body). Launched in 1951 with a 2952cc version of the DB18 2½litre 6-cylinder engine, this was enlarged to 3468cc in 1952. Regency cars had a standard Barker-designed 6-light body, but other coachwork was available. In 1952 Hooper offered the Empress II bodywork which was a revised version of the DB18 Empress body. In 1954 the Regency II range featured a 3468cc engine and an optional 4617cc engine, the standard 6-light saloon gaining weight and a longer boot. The Regency models were revised as the 'One-O-Four' models in 1955 and a 4-light Sportsman saloon was offered by HJ Mulliner. The One-O-Four, supposedly good for 104mph, was replaced by the similar looking Daimler Majestic in 1959.

Daimler 104 Continental. Hooper used an extended Daimler Regency/104 chassis for its Continental hoping to attract people to a car cheaper than a Bentley Continental. Neither of Hooper's Continentals caught on, and this Daimler was the only Daimler made.

Daimler 104 Continental. Hooper added these headlamp peaks to many of its designs at this time. In this case the peak contains a sidelamp and an individual fresh air grille for each front seat occupant.
