From 1969 Dacia were able to produce the Renault 12 as the Dacia 1300, and from 1973 the Dacia 1300 Break was also produced with a Pickup version from 1975. Renault acquired Dacia in 1999 and new models such as the Dacia Logan (2004), the Dacia Sandero (2008) and the Dacia Duster (2010) benefitted from the expertise of Renault. Dacia models are now sold as entry level Renaults across many markets.
