Chrysler SV1
Chrysler had introduced the Valiant into the Australian market in 1962 with the RV1 model built in Adelaide from completely knocked down (CKD) kits made in Canada. The Valiant SV1 was the second Valiant produced in Australia from 1962 to 1963, and was simply assembled from American Plymouth Valiant (Chrysler A-body) parts. Differences from the RV1 model were minimal and that model had only been sold for ten weeks. It was offered in sedan on a 106.5-inch wheelbase. Body styles were solely a 4-door sedan, 5-door estate and a coupe utility. There was a single 3.7-litre six cylinder engine.
