Buick Roadmaster 1954 - 1956
Under Harley Earl a new GM C-body which was given to the 1954 Buick Roadmaster (and Cadillac, and Oldsmobile 98). The Roadmaster was built on 127-inches, and was offered as a 4-door sedan, Riviera hardtops in 2-door and 4-door format, and a convertible. A 5,272cc (322) 'Nailhead' V8 powered the Roadmaster and saved weight and size on the outgoing 'Fireball' straight eight.
