Austin Ten pickup and van

Austin were not known for their commercial vehicles, but the Austin Ten readily made a useful van or pickup. When Dick Burzi restyled the Ten in 1939, a pickup version quickly found favour with the armed services and was fondly cally a 'Tilly'

Austin Ten Light Utility 1941. The Austin Ten pickup was based on the Austin Ten saloon.

Austin Ten Light Utility 1943. Powered by the Austin Ten 1230cc sidevalve engine, this Tilly was the main car production during the War years.
