Aston Martin V8
In 1972 the DBS model was dropped and the 'Aston Martin V8' offered instead. The V8 underwent many incarnations; 'Series 3' 1973-78 with large open power bulge and Weber carburettors. Then the 'Oscar India' V540/580 1978-86 which William Towns was called back to revise. Finally the V585 Weber fuel-injected with flat bonnet. Production of the Aston Martin V8 ended in 1989.
