Alvis TA TB and TC
After the war the 12/70 design was rekindled and lightly modified to become the Alvis TA 14. Wheelbase and track were increased and the engine uprated to 1892cc. There were Mulliner saloon bodies and dropheads by both Carbodies and Tickford as well as coachbuilt bodies. AP Metalcraft produced a sporting twin carb TB14 version in 1950. The TA14 was a good seller for Alvis.
